Garden City Police Department Criminal Damage

Saturday

Between 8 a.m. Sept. 24 and 5:40 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Magnolia Street, an unknown person used an unknown object to damage a vehicle. Estimated loss $900.

Friday

At about 1 p.m. in the 100 block of South 11th Street, an unknown person scratched a car, causing an estimated $300 in damage.

Sept. 26

Between 12:01 a.m. Sept. 25 and 11:25 a.m. Sept. 26 in the 600 block of North Main Street, an unknown person used paint to spray graffiti on a building. Loss $20.

Between 12:01 and 12:21 a.m. in the 2900 block of Eldorado Place, an unknown person broke out windows on a residence. Damage $200.

Thefts/Losses

Friday

At 1:35 p.m. at Gipson Diamond Jewlers, 321 N. Main St., a known person was found to be in possession of stolen property. Investigation continues.

Between 10:34 and 11:20 a.m. at Horace Good Middle School, 1412 N. Main St., an unknown person took a pair of shoes without permission. Estimated loss $120.

Sept. 26

Between 10:45 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. at Garden City Community College, 801 Campus Drive, an unknown person took a license plate without permission. Estimated loss $10.

Between 8 a.m. Sept. 9 and 8 a.m. Sept. 26 in the 1100 block of College Drive, two suspects posing as Cox Communication employees attempted to defraud customers by offering them a fraudulent package upgrade in exchange for cash.

Between 1 and 2:10 p.m. at Garden City High School, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd., an unknown person took a digital scale without permission. Loss $108.

Sept. 25

Between 7:45 and 10 a.m. in the 600 block of Wheatridge Road, an unknown person entered a residence without permission and took miscellaneous electronic equipment, jewelry and cash. Loss $12,360. Investigation continues.
