Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Tuesday

Andres Flores, 29, 407 Elm St., was arrested at 1:56 p.m. in the 300 block of North Ninth Street, on a city warrant.

Pedro Gallardo, 51, 707 Ida St., was arrested at 6:24 p.m. in the 700 block of Ida Street on allegations of assault and disorderly conduct.

Gustavo Chavez, 19, 1506 Wallace St., was cited and released at 5:30 p.m. at Wal-Mart, 3101 E. Kansas Ave., on an allegation of theft.

Wednesday

Manuel Alejandro Melendez-Davila, 20, 2507 N. Seventh St., at 10:33 a.m. in the 400 block of West Bellevue Avenue, was cited and released on allegations of driving while suspended.

Patrick Wayne Vestal, 14, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, was arrested at 5:37 p.m. at Youth Services, 2701 N. 11th St., on an arrest-and-detain order.

Jeremy Christopher McGinnes, 19, Dodge City, was arrested at 3:44 p.m. in the 2500 block of Lamplighter Drive, on an allegation of driving while suspended.

Stacey Williams, 45, Holcomb, was arrested at 4 p.m. in the 1300 block of B Street, on a municipal warrant for failure to appear in court.

Giovanni Navarrete-Ramirez, 21, 1609 Kello St., was cited and released on an allegation of no proof of insurance at 10:45 p.m. in the 700 block of West Kansas Avenue.

Lemonta Truitt, 19, 611 Campus Drive, was cited and released on an allegation of no proof insurance at 12:59 a.m. in the 700 block of West Kansas Avenue.

Criminal Damage

Tuesday

At 9 p.m. in the 2200 block of East Kansas Avenue, an unknown person broke the glass front door of the business. Loss of $500.

Wednesday

At 3:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Terrace Place, an unknown suspect damaged a vehicle. Loss valued at $1,575.

Thefts/Losses

Nov. 15

Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the 1500 block of St. John Street, persons allegedly entered an unlocked house and took a plastic jug of change and a Kindle Fire, causing a loss of $488.

Wednesday

Between 4 p.m. Monday and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Vinzant Street, an unknown person broke a window on a vehicle and took stereo equipment, causing a loss of $200 and damages of $125.

Tuesday

Elmer Lopez, 25, 4170 E. U.S. Highway 50, was arrested at 11:29 a.m. on an allegation of domestic battery.

Laura Bartel, 18, 911 Safford Ave., was arrested at 11:56 a.m. on allegations of making false information and two allegations of theft.

Carlos Ramon, 29, 2602 Chainey St., was arrested at 7:18 p.m. on a probation violation.

Margarito Castro, 37, 1601 York Ave., was arrested at 9 a.m. on a municipal warrant.

Toby Cypret, 26, Liberal, was arrested at 10:39 a.m. on an allegation of unlawful acts.

Cecilio Alejo-Flores, 24, 1017 Smoky Hill Road, was arrested at 10:34 a.m. on allegations of failure to wear a seat belt and driving without liability insurance.

Jose Acosta, 57, Holcomb, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on allegations of speeding and driving without liability insurance.

Pedro Friessen, 42, was arrested at 10:46 a.m. on allegations of driving without a valid license and speeding.

Francisco Hernandez, 22, Ulysses, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. on allegations of speeding and driving without registration.

Juan Gaytan, 27, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, was arrested at 10:56 a.m. on allegations of driving without a valid license and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

Eldy Leyva-Varela, 19, Syracuse, was arrested at 11:01 a.m. on allegations of driving without a valid license and driving without liability insurance.

Vanessa Martinez, 21, Sublette, was arrested at 11:23 a.m. on an allegation of no insurance.

Rogelio Orelas, 29, was arrested at 11:17 a.m. on an allegation of driving without a valid license.

Jesus Lujan-Reyes, 18, 6065 Old Post Road, was arrested at 11:07 a.m. on an allegation of driving while suspended.

Jacqueline Sosa, 22, Lakin, was arrested at 11:22 a.m. on allegations of child passenger safety and driving without a valid license.

Felicia Vargas, 24, 312 N. Third St., was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on allegations of speeding and driving while suspended.
