ULYSSES — Paulette M. Fort, 61, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.

ULYSSES — Paulette M. Fort, 61, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.

She was born Nov. 10, 1952 in Ellis to Martin and Esther Fisher Bieker.

She married Greg Fort on July 26, 1975, in Hays.

She graduated from Ellis High School and attended Colby Community College and Fort Hays State University. She was a secretary in the Ulysses school system.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Taryn Fort-Doyle of Denver; a son, Thayne Fort of Denver; a brother, Jerry Bieker of Denver; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Tyson Gabriel Fort.

Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Ulysses. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the DuGood Events, in care of the funeral home.
