Longtime Goodland resident Patty Jo Tiede, 60, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at her home in Goodland.

Longtime Goodland resident Patty Jo Tiede, 60, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at her home in Goodland.

She was born April 13, 1953, at Quinter to Pat Goetz and Tommy Joe "TJ" Martin. She attended high school at Park.

On March 17, 1979, she and Mitch Tiede were married and made their home at Goodland. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband of Goodland; a son Patrick Tiede and his wife, Andrea, of Manhattan; a daughter, Erica Spangler and her husband, Joe, of Garden City; four grandchildren, Thomas, Eric, and Jacie Tiede of Manhattan, and Jaelyn Spangler of Garden City; and two brothers, Larry Martin and his wife, Peggy, of Aurora, Colo.; and Terry Martin and his wife, Deb, of Goodland.

Preceding her in death were her son Tom Tiede and her parents.

The Memorial Mass of the Deceased will be 10:30 a.m. MT Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Goodland, with the Rev. Norbert Dlabal presiding. Inurnment will follow in the Goodland Cemetery.

Memorials may be designated to Advanced Healthcare of Aurora, Colo., and may be left at the service or mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland, KS 67735-1555.
