Margaret M. Patten

DIGHTON — Margaret M. "Sissy" Patten, 69, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Lane County Hospital in Dighton.

She was born Dec. 17, 1943, to Eca Curtis and Edith Frances Andrews Lightle in Yuma County, Colo.

On Jan. 10, 1962, she married Melvin "Jim" Wilms, Sr. They later divorced. She then married Patrick Patten in 1983. They divorced in 1995.

Survivors include her first husband, Melvin "Jim" Wilms Sr., Cheyenne Wells, Colo.; one daughter, Connie Faulconer, Bonners Ferry, Idaho; three sons, Melvin Wilms Jr., Dighton, Larry Wilms, Cheyenne Wells, Colo., and Kenny Wilms, Garden City; three sisters, Eve Davisson, Oregon, Linda Heinze, Greeley Colo., and Tudy Toland, Oxford; six brothers, Bill Lightle, Burlington, Colo., Dale Lightle, Idalia, Colo., David Lightle, Clinton, Mo., Carl Lightle, New Mexico, Elmer Lightle, Goodland, and Larry Lightle, Kearney, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and an infant son, Paul Dean Wilms.

Funeral services were held Dec. 24 at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Cheyenne Wells.

Final committal services were held at the Arapahoe Cemetery in Arapahoe, Colo.
