Larry Frederick Minor, 75, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City.

Larry Frederick Minor, 75, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City.

He was born Sept. 30, 1937, in Leoti, to Ernst and Eva Marie Campbell Minor. He graduated from Leoti High School in 1956.

He enlisted in the California National Guard in October of 1960 at Fort Ord, Calif., and was discharged in October 1966.

He is survived by three sisters, Margaret Turner of Scott City, Theda Ball of Norton, and Lois Phillis of Hutchinson; and one brother, Gordon Minor of Stilwell, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Leoti Cemetery. Burial will be in the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti.

Memorials may be given to the Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City, in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, KS 67871.
