HOLCOMB — Daniel P. "Danny" Rojas, 60, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at his home in Holcomb.

HOLCOMB — Daniel P. "Danny" Rojas, 60, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at his home in Holcomb.

He was born July 8, 1953, in Garden City to Bartolo and Mary Delgado Rojas.

A lifetime Finney County resident, he was known throughout the area for various jobs, including positions at Oswalt Industries, Palmer Manufacturing, Federal Express, owner and operator of D.R. Computers and most recently, an informational technician for Finney County.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Knights of Columbus, both of Garden City.

On Jan. 31, 2011, he married Kelly Janda in Garden City. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Daniel P. "Dube" Rojas and wife Sophie of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Dana Rojas of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a grandson, Paxton Rojas of Kansas City, Mo.; two step-sons, Johnny and Andrew Janda, both of Holcomb; a step-daughter, Stephanie Janda of Holcomb; his parents of Garden City; a brother, Gilbert "Bo" Rojas of Garden City; and three sisters, Rosie Beltran, Brenda Villa and Oletha Cox, all of Garden City.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Rojas; two sisters, Gloria Perez and Susie Garcia; and three nephews, Gilbert Rojas Jr., Dirk Cox and Timothy Cox.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City.

Inurnment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.

There will be no public visitation.

Memorials may be given to the Daniel Rojas Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, KS 67846.
