MOSCOW — Billy Dee Suddeth, 78, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at his home in Moscow.
Suddeth was born Sept. 21, 1934, at Estelline, Texas, to William and Jewel Monk Suddeth.
He was an electrician for the city of Hugoton for 37 years.
He married Mary Lou Nelson on April 12, 1959, at Lawton, Okla. She preceded him in death. He married Christine Marie Stoddard Munson on May 4, 2003, at Moscow. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Gary Suddeth and Robert Suddeth, both of Hugoton, and Allan Suddeth of Kechi; a daughter, Donna Rawlings of Pratt; a stepson, Steve Munson of Moscow; a stepdaughter, Darla Callantonio of Moscow; a brother, Ceceil Suddeth of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Dreda Ballard of Edmond, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Virgil, JC and Bobby; and three sisters, Ruby, Mary and Barbara.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moscow Baptist Church, Moscow. Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Paul's Funeral Home, Hugoton.
