DIGHTON — Mildred Marie Cramer, 94, Healy, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Lane County Long Term Care in Dighton.

DIGHTON — Mildred Marie Cramer, 94, Healy, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Lane County Long Term Care in Dighton.

Mrs. Cramer was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Copeland to Arthur and Fannie Elizabeth Stapleton Pottorff. She married Robert D. "Chick" Cramer on Oct. 5, 1940, in Garden City. He preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1994.

Cramer graduated from Healy High School in 1938. After her graduation, she cared for several families after the birth of a new baby. She was a homemaker who liked to cook. She enjoyed finding and trying new recipes and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed outside work in her yard and flowers. She was instrumental in planting and tending several tree groves.

Cramer was a member of Bible Fellowship Church of Dighton and a past member of Healy Rebecca Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her infant son, Delbert Dean; brother Clarence Pottorff; and three sisters, Neola Hessman, Dorothy Gall and Viola Fick.

Cramer is survived by two sons, Dexter and Judith Cramer, both of Healy; daughter Kay Martin and husband Guy, Frederick, Colo; two brothers, Ellsworth and Sis Pottorff, Vona, Colo; seven grandchildren, Mitzi and husband Robert Gardner, of Douglass, Rhonda and husband Wes McKinney, of Englewood, Dean Cramer and wife Cindi, of Healy, Shirley and husband Matt Frankenberry, of Pittsburg, Cristi and husband David Marshall, of Downingtown, Pa., Shelly and husband Jeff Pomeroy, Johnston, Colo., and Brian Martin, Littleton, Colo.; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is at 10 a.m. today at Bible Fellowship Church in Dighton. Burial is at the Healy Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Lane County Long Term Care or Bible Fellowship Church in care of Boomhower Funeral Home.
