HUGOTON — Melody Kay Huff, 64, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at Satanta District Hospital in Satanta.

HUGOTON — Melody Kay Huff, 64, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at Satanta District Hospital in Satanta.

She was born Sept. 12, 1949, to Wiley and Nina (Nelson) Brown in Nicut, Okla.

Mrs. Huff went to cosmetology school in Liberal at the Liberal Hair Academy and was a cosmetologist.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include one son, Micheal Stapleton of Satanta; one daughter, Tara Cordova-Blair of Satanta; one sister, Darlene Lucas of Satanta; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church in Satanta. Burial will follow at Dudley Township Cemetery in Satanta.

Friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church.

A memorial has been established for Melody Kay Huff Cosmetology Scholarship. Memorials may be mailed to Paul's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
