A Wichita County man's death has been ruled an agricultural accident, according to the Wichita County Sheriff's Office.

Robert E. Wiles, 61, died on his farm in the northeast corner of the county Wednesday morning due to an accident involving farm equipment, Sheriff Randy Keeton said.

Keeton wouldn't comment on Wiles' manner of death or other details about the accident.

Wiles was a member of Christ Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Leoti, where he served as an elder, and was a member of the K-State Alumni Association and previously served on the USD 467 Board of Education for 12 years.
