Sullivan graduates

from training

Private First Class Jacie Breann Sullivan, 18, of Garden City, graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island on Nov. 1.

PFC Sullivan successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD Parris Island as one of 47 recruits in Training Platoon 4036. While in recruit training, she achieved the following: Platoon Squad Leader, Platoon Guide, Rifle Expert and a Meritorious Promotion from Private to Private First Class.

Following 10 days home on leave, she will report to Camp LeJeune, N.C., for one month at Military Combat Training and then Military Occupation Specialty school where she will be training in aviation at Pensacola, Fla., for one year.
