ULYSSES — Gerald (Jerry) Klein, 67, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses,
He was born April 21, 1945, in New England, N.D., to Edward Jr. and Clara Johnson Klein.
A farmer, he married Joyce Bruntzel on Sept. 21, 1968, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ulysses.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Derek Klein of Ulysses; a daughter, Lexy Klein of Ulysses; two sisters, Darlene Freize of Bismarck, N.D., and Joyce Hoffman of Grand Forks, N.D.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Don Klein; a daughter, Teri Jo Klein; and a son, Troy Kelly Klein.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Oasis Church in Ulysses. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
