SPORTS: Busters accept bid to Mississippi Bowl

Garden City Community College's football team has accepted an invitation to play in the 2012 Mississippi Bowl.

The Broncbusters, who finished their season with a 6-4 record and a fourth-place finish in the Jayhawk Conference, will play Copiah-Lincoln Community College of Wesson, Miss. in the Dec. 2 bowl in Biloxi, Miss.

Copiah-Lincoln, the Region XXIII champion, will bring a 9-2 season record into the game.
