The Garden City Community College baseball team dropped three games at Rose State College (Okla.) over the weekend.

The Broncbusters dropped 8-3 and 7-4 decisions on Saturday, then lost 11-7 on Sunday.

Sunday, Garden City had a brief three-run lead after a four-run fifth inning, but gave up seven runs in the sixth through eighth innings.

In the 7-4 loss, the Broncbusters fell behind 3-0 early, pulled to within one run after the top of the fifth, but allowed single runs in the fifth and sixth innings. The Busters left 11 men on base in the loss.

In the 8-3 game, Rose State used a three-run third and five-run fourth to take control. The Busters got two in the fifth and one in the sixth, and left 13 men on base.

Garden City fell to 2-6 this season. Weather permitting, the Busters are scheduled to host Frank Phillips (Texas) at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Williams Stadium.
