Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center, 3101 Belmont Place, will hold a Literacy Night at 6 p.m. Thursday. The theme for the evening is "RED, WHITE, & BLUE, Celebrate Literacy and YOU!"
A light supper will be served beginning at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Free will donations will be accepted.
Literacy activities will be from 6:30-8:00 p.m. A silent auction will be held for Literacy Baskets - themed around favorite children's books. Free books and literacy bags will be given to each family in attendance during the event.
Family Literacy Night provides students and their parents an opportunity to obtain materials that will help them work together on literacy skills at home.
