PHILLIPSBURG — Edward L. Desbien, 67, formerly of Tribune, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg.

PHILLIPSBURG — Edward L. Desbien, 67, formerly of Tribune, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg.

He was born March 8, 1946, in Hays, to Adrian Leo and Ruby Marie Radden Desbien.

Mr. Desbien was a scrap metal dealer.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Desbien of McCook, Neb., and Jon Kennedy of Jacksonville, N.C.; two brothers, Jim Desbien of Riverside, Calif., and Bob Desbien of Roswell, N.M.; a sister, Adrian Stout of Greer, S.C.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Heather Sizemore.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune.

Visitation will be 9 from a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Tribune.

Memorials are suggested to the Edward Desbien Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
