Engagement: Herbic-Simshauser

Jim and Lynn Herbic of Salina announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lynn, to Nathan Flint Simshauser. He is the son of Bill and Diane Simshauser of Lakin.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Max and Veanna Carman of Oberlin; and Glenn and Beulah Herbic of Alma. Great-grandmother is Myrtle Waldo of Oberlin. Her fiancé is the grandson of Norman and Ethel Simshauser of Lakin; Barbara Fillmore of Garden City; and the late Keith Fillmore.

The bride-to-be graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 2006 and from Fort Hays State University in 2010 with an associates degree in business management. She is employed at COMCARE, PA in Salina.

Her fiancé graduated from Lakin High School in 2006 and plans to graduate in May 2012 from Kansas State University at Salina with a bachelor's degree in technology management. He also is employed at COMCARE, PA in Salina.

They plan to marry May 26, 2012, at Crosspoint Church in Salina.
