Voter con in Kansas

Voter con in Kansas

There have been several articles written about the new voter registration law instituted by the Kansas Legislature and Kris Kobach. Voter fraud or voter suppression.

In truth it has been the greatest long con ever perpetrated on the citizens of Kansas, a total con by a total flim-flam artist.

I am the proof. I am a lifetime ancestral resident of Kansas. My family has been here 135 years and Americans 150 years. I am 61 years old, born in Garden City and raised in Holcomb. My great-grandfather moved to Garden City in the early 1900s. Our family has lived and voted here since then.

In 2009, I moved from Garden City to the homeplace north of Holcomb to help care for my father who had Alzheimer's. As all Kansas voters, I was required to register to vote once again and as I needed to report a stolen driver's license I did both at the Kansas Driver's License office in Garden City. It took exactly seven days from Dec. 16, 2009, until Dec. 23, 2009, when my voter registration card was in my rural mailbox.

In 2013, I once again, as many Kansas voters do, found myself in a position of having to register to vote again. Having to renew my driver's license, I went to the same driver's license office in Garden City on Sept. 26, 2013. Shortly thereafter I received a letter from Kris Kobach's office requiring me to take my birth certificate and photo ID, my driver's license, to the Finney County Clerk. I did so. The lady at the clerk's office then photocopied my license and my birth certificate and sent them to the Office of Secretary of State Kris Kobach.

Today is Jan. 21, 2014. It has been 138 days. Even if you comply with this law, it does not work. Why? It was never intended to work.

I now know I live in the Tory Kingdom of Kansas in the 5th lordship, the 122nd Baroney in the Feifdoom of Finney, ruled by a Tory King, his Lord Regent and the Lords of the chamber and the barons of the House. We are now serfs, not citizens, we have no constitutional right to vote and no democracy. Thomas Jefferson once said that the blood of patriots must be spilled to feed the blood of Tory Tyrants to the tree of freedom in order to preserve freedom and democracy. Our forefathers made this pledge in blood as our veterans do every day. Can we do no less? Must our grandchildren suffer the serfdom of a regime of the party, for the party, by the party and forever live in shame? It is time to act like free men and women or do as sheep. Criminals now rule our state.

Support for Roth dropped

I have withdrawn my support for Kent Roth in the Republican primary election against incumbent Tim Huelskamp for the Kansas First Congressional District.

Accordingly, I no longer support Kent Roth as the Republican candidate for the Kansas First Congressional District.
