Bad Boyz to host boxing show

The Bad Boyz Boxing Club is sponsoring a summer boxing show on Friday and Saturday at the West Pavilion of the Finney County Fairgrounds.

Friday's opening night will begin at 7 p.m. while the Saturday opener will begin at 4 p.m.

Approximately 20 teams will be represented in the two-day event. Teams include Albuquerque, N.M.; Amarillo, Lubbock and Littlefield, Texas; Woodward and Elk City, Okla.; Greeley, Denver and Colorado Springs, Colo.; Omaha, Neb.; and Kansas teams from Salina, Wichita, Topeka, Kansas City, Dodge City, and Ulysses. In addition to the Bad Boyz members, Garden City Boxing Club will also be represented.

Doors to the event will open one hour prior to the first fight. Tickets are $7.50 for a two-day pass for seniors and students, or $5 per day. An adult two-day pass is $15. Individual daily tickets for adults are $10.

Tickets may be purchased from any Bad Boyz boxer, or persons can call 521-2055 for individual details.
