The Garden City Police Department is investigating thefts that occurred at The Arts Center on Main in 2012.

GCPD Sgt. Michael Reagle said the exact time frame for the theft is unclear at this time.

"It is believed the theft occurred in mid-to-late last year," Reagle said.

Reagle said the stolen items included five paintings valued at $658, a silver office desk valued at $100 and a personal check to the business.

He said there are currently no suspects and the incident is still under investigation by the GCPD.

The Garden City Arts Board had no comment due to it being an ongoing investigation.
