Paul and Linda O'Hara celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this week.

Paul and Linda O'Hara celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this week.

Paul and Linda were married Aug. 1, 1962, in Oklahoma and raised their family of four children in Hugoton, where they owned Paul's Pharmacy and other businesses prior to moving to Garden City. While in Garden City, Linda taught math and science at Holcomb High School before retiring, and Paul served many area pharmacies as a part-time pharmacist.

Having grown up on family farms in Elk City and Canute, Okla,, they enjoyed returned to their farming roots when they moved to an historic homestead in rural Beloit, where Paul continues to work as a relief pharmacist throughout the region and Linda enjoys volunteering and gardening.
