Lowell and Dorothy Mueller of Garden City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 22, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1010 Fleming St. The couple is requesting no gifts.

Lowell and Dorothy Mueller of Garden City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 22, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1010 Fleming St. The couple is requesting no gifts.

Hosts for the occasion will be their children, Teresa Moore of Springdale, Ark.; Nancy Foreman of Holcomb; and Michael Mueller of Tulsa, Okla.

Lowell Mueller and Dorothy Beikmann were married Dec. 22, 1963, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Linn. Lowell had a long career with the Kansas Department of Agriculture where he served as the dairy inspector for a large part of western Kansas. Dorothy specialized in retail sales and had worked with K-Mart and Wharton's Gifts.

They have eight grandchildren.
