Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Wednesday

Sixto Saldana, 54, 402 W. Maple St., was arrested at 9:15 p.m. in the 400 block of West Maple Street on a municipal warrant.

Manuel Calachij, 29, 619 N. Ninth St., was arrested at 4:23 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Eighth Street on allegations of driving under the influence, no valid driver's license, transporting an open container and no proof of insurance.

Jeremiah Rodriguez, 26, 1715 Pats Drive, was cited and released at 12:49 a.m. in the 200 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Rodrecious Jermaine McFarland, 40, 2808 N. Taylor Ave., was arrested at 9:03 a.m. on a municipal bench warrant for failure to appear.

Tuesday

Mariam 'Jennifer' Godwin, 57, 302 N. 10th St., was arrested at 8:42 a.m. in the 300 block of North 10th Street on an allegation of domestic battery.

Luz Teran, 35, 1005 N. Second St., was cited and released at 8:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Second Street on an allegation of driving while suspended and no proof of insurance.

Aaron Garcia, 17, 2503 E. Schulman Ave., was cited and released at 5:38 p.m. in the 2400 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of closure of parks stemming from an earlier incident.

Jasmine Salazar, 17, 2510 VFW Road, was cited and released at 5:38 p.m. in the 2400 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of closure of parks stemming from an earlier incident.

A 14-year-old was arrested at 3:45 p.m. in the 4100 block of East U.S. Highway 50 on allegations of battery, disorderly conduct, assault on a law enforcement officer and interference with a law enforcement officer.

Levi Prince, 21, 1921 Harding Ave., was cited and released at 8 a.m. in the 100 block of Old Manor Road on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Maquenent Abagaro, 49, 310 College Ave., No. 5., was cited and released at 8:20 a.m. in the 700 block of Campus Drive on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Ana Escalante, 20, 1105 Summit St., was cited and released at 6:40 p.m. at Walmart, 3101 E. Kansas Ave., on an allegation of theft.

Mireya Mercedes Soto-Martinez, 33, 509 Moores Ave., was arrested at 3:40 p.m. in the 200 block of North First Street on an out-of-county warrant.

Laniette Gennette, 53, 2910 Loraine Place, was cited and released at 10:45 p.m. in the 2900 block of Loraine Place on an allegation of domestic battery.

Criminal Damage

Tuesday

Between 11:20 and 11:36 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Eighth Street, an unknown person broke windows out of an apartment. Loss $200.

Thefts/Losses

Wednesday

Between May 30 and Wednesday in the 400 block of West Maple Street, an unknown person stole various tools from a person. Loss $665.

Between 10:20 and 10:30 p.m. at Time Out, 1319 N. Taylor Ave., two unknown persons battered someone and took a cowboy hat. Loss $300. Investigation continues.

Tuesday

At 8:50 p.m. at Dollar General, 514 W. Mary St., an unknown person entered into the business and took clothing items without paying. Estimated loss $195.

At 8 a.m. in the 200 block of North Sixth Street, an unknown person stole a bicycle. Loss $100.
