SCOTT CITY — Kennith Allen Yeager, 89, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at Ness County Hospital in Ness City.
He was born Sept. 18, 1923, in Conrad, Mont., to George Lewis and Mary Edith McCurtain Yeager.
A resident of Scott County since the fall of 2000, Mr. Yeager was a rancher, farmer and commercial painter.
On Aug. 8, 1943, he married Lorine Lillian Walston in Conrad. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Gary K. Yeager of Conrad, and Irvin L. Yeager of Scott City; two daughters, Karen K. Nelson of Ridgefield, Wash., and Julie L. Alexander of Camas, Wash.; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald and Ray Yeager; and a sister, Edith Weikum.
Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Scott City. Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillside Cemetery in Conrad.
