Rosa Ramos Rincones, 67, of Dodge City, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.

Rosa Ramos Rincones, 67, of Dodge City, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.

She was born Nov. 13, 1945, in Colorado City, Texas, to Fransico and Amelia Gonzales Rincones.

She worked as a nurse at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City and at Fort Dodge and IBP in Holcomb before retiring.

Survivors include six children, Pedro "Pete" Ramos, Rudy Ramos, Sue Ann Ramos, Irvin Ordiz, Eric Niave and Amberly Alarcon; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her brothers and sisters, Ernie and Ray Rincones, both of Garden City, Mary Rincones of Liberal, Amelia Jeffery of Rifle, Colo., Frank Rincones of Dallas, Lollie Niave of Glenwood Springs, Colo., Armando Rincones of Pueblo, Colo., Sammy Rincones of Denver, and Daniel Rincones of Dodge City. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carlos and Oscar Rincones; and a sister, Flora Gomez.

A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com. Memorials are suggested to the Rose Ramos Rincones Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
