SCOTT CITY — Lottie E. Farr, 76, died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Hays Medical Center in Hays.

She was born April 12, 1937, in Caldwell, to Otto Jayce and Alta Grace Terry Cash.

A resident of Scott City since January 1996, moving from Garden City, Mrs. Farr was an activities director at Terrace Garden Nursing Home in Garden City for eight years before she retired.

On Jan. 9, 1996, she married Marvin J. Farr in Garden City. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Tesa Fansler of Sanford, Fla., and Shawna Angers of Haviland; seven sons, Brad Downum of Sealy, Texas, Bart Downum of Cypress, Texas, Scott Burling of Lafayette, La., Justin Fansler of Wichita, Courtney Farr of Lawrence, Jeremy Crist of Manhattan, and Jeff Kershner of Clarinda, Iowa; two sisters, Louise McGregor and Lucille Wolff, both of Caldwell; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter; and a son, Justin Farr.

Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church of Scott City. Burial will be at Scott County Cemetery, Scott City.

Visitation hours are 4 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Scott City. Condolences may be given at www.priceandsons.com or pricefh@wbsnet.org.
