ROLLA — H.L. Hanna, 72, of Rolla, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita.

ROLLA — H.L. Hanna, 72, of Rolla, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita.

He was born July 18, 1941, in Morton, Texas, to E.C. and Ettie Martin Hanna. He graduated from Morton High School in 1959.

He married Diann Love on May 21, 1961.

A resident of Rolla since September 1975, Mr. Hanna retired from Northern Natural Gas as a meter technician.

Survivors include two sons, Scott and Cole Hanna, both of Richfield; a daughter, Ettie Archer of Lamesa, Texas; three sisters, Betty Jean Neugebauer of Lubbock, Texas, Bonnie Richardson of San Angelo, Texas, and Doris Richardson of Morton; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Alice Hanna; two brothers, Buddy and Royce; and two sisters, Pearly Dee and Joyce.

Graveside service and inurnment will begin at 10 a.m. July 26 at Rolla Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Rolla Public Library, in care of Garnand Funeral Home, Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
