LEOTI — Lloyd Henry Hutchison, 87, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at Someren Glen Assisted Care in Centennial, Colo.

LEOTI — Lloyd Henry Hutchison, 87, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at Someren Glen Assisted Care in Centennial, Colo.

He was born Sept. 5, 1926, in Wichita, to Lloyd M. and Wilma B. Wright Hutchison.

Mr. Hutchison was a former resident of Leoti, where he served as vice president of Leoti State Bank, had farming interests and was owner/operator of the Montgomery Ward store before moving to Northglenn, Colo., in 1986. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

On Dec. 26, 1949, he married Doris Jean Gilman in Fairway. She survives. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Lloyd G. Hutchison.

Graveside service will begin at 10:30 this morning at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City.

Memorials are suggested to the Wichita County Amusement Association, in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti.
