JETMORE — A Hodgeman County man was injured Saturday night when the motorcycle he was riding left the highway.

Derek P. Weber, 31, was riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle heading north on U.S. 283, about three miles south of Jetmore, when the motorcycle left the road to the right and lost control. It tipped on its side coming to rest in the east ditch, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Weber, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Hodgeman County Health Center with injuries.
