Dale L. Snodgrass, 84, of Mt. Hope, died Monday, April 7, 2014, in Wichita.

Dale L. Snodgrass, 84, of Mt. Hope, died Monday, April 7, 2014, in Wichita.

He was born Sept. 7, 1929, in Pierceville, to Fred L. and Vera J. Smith Snodgrass.

Mr. Snodgrass was a retired Master Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force.

On Aug. 26, 1954, he married Barbara Jacob in Garden City. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, John L. Snodgrass and Jack L. Snodgrass, both of Mt. Hope, and David W. Snodgrass of Haven; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Andale. Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.

Arrangements are being handled by Wulf-Ast Mortuary in Garden Plain.
