Michael Freisen, 69, 1904 Crestway Drive, was cited and released at 3:01 p.m. in the 600 block of Evans Street on an allegation of dog at large.

Nicolas Garcia, 34, 803 Ida St., was arrested at 1:58 p.m. in the 400 block of North Eighth Street on a municipal bench warrant.

Brenden Milo Lewis, 19, 611 Campus Drive, No. 2109, was arrested at 9:01 p.m. in the 2900 block of Eldorado Place on allegations of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container and consumption/possession of alcohol by a minor.

Ernest Dewayne Brown Jr., 35, 2914 Fleming St., Apt. 705, was arrested at 4:37 a.m. in the 2500 block of North Taylor Avenue on allegations of fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, interference with a law enforcement officer, driving while suspended, no proof of insurance and illegal tags.

Mose Malek Atak, 34, 253 Stevens Ave., was arrested at 11:55 p.m. in the 300 block of East Fulton Street on an allegation of intoxicated pedestrian.

Tristen McDonald, 17, 606 Long Blvd., Apt. E6, was arrested at 5:59 p.m. in the 600 block of Long Boulevard on allegations of assault on a law enforcement officer and aiding a felon.

Edgar Mejia, 20, 1111 Belmont Place, was arrested at 5:59 p.m. in the 600 block of Long Boulevard on a felony county warrant for allegations of interference with a law enforcement officer, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated robbery and criminal damage.

Victor Arriaga, 29, 1441 Clay St., Liberal, was arrested at 1:25 p.m. in the 500 block of North Eighth Street on a felony warrant and on allegations of driving while suspended and driving while a habitual violator.

Ramiro Islas, 19, 4050 E. Schulman Ave., was arrested at 2:59 p.m. in the 100 block of North Seventh Street on allegations of driving under the influence and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Friday

Between 6:30 and 7:20 p.m. in the 600 block of East Walnut Street, an unknown person scratched graffiti into a wall. Damage $50.

Between 7 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. Friday in the 4100 block of U.S. East Highway 50, an unknown person used a BB gun to damage a vehicle window. Loss $300.

Between 7 a.m. Thursday and 6:32 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Kello Street, an unknown person used a rock to break a window. Loss $200.

Monday

Between 2:47 and 2:57 p.m. at Walmart, 3101 E. Kansas Ave., an unknown person took several miscellaneous items without paying. Estimated loss $70.

March 12

Between 5 p.m. March 5 and 10 a.m. March 12 at Wards, 2703 N. Taylor Ave., an unknown person took a fountain from a business without paying for it. Estimated loss $700.

Thefts/Losses

Sunday

Between 11:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Sixth Street, a known person took a compressor from the residence without permission. Loss $200.

Saturday

Between 1 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the 600 block of Campus Drive, an unknown person took an electronic item without permission. Loss $400.

Between 5 and 5:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of East Kansas Avenue, an unknown person failed to return the victim's cell phone. Loss $300.

March 28

Between 8 a.m. March 24 and 5 p.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of North Sixth Street, a known person took a laptop from the vicitm's residence without permission. Loss $691.

Between 8 a.m. June 1, 2012 and 3:33 p.m. Sept. 30, 2012, at The Art Center on Main, 318 N. Main St., an unknown person stole several items from the business. Investigation continues.
