CIMARRON — Nona R. Reed, 76, of Cimarron, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.

CIMARRON — Nona R. Reed, 76, of Cimarron, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.

She was born Jan. 28, 1938, in Memphis, Tenn., to Clyde R. and Frances Rogers Mosier. She graduated from high school in Memphis.

Mrs. Reed was a special education teacher for the Garden City School District for many years.

She married Roy Reed in Blytheville, Ark. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Ann L. Reed of Signal Hill, Calif.; a son, John Mark Reed of South Korea; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clyde Mosier.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
