HUGOTON — Larry Norman Winget, 73, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.

HUGOTON — Larry Norman Winget, 73, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.

He was born Oct. 8, 1940, in Larned, to Norman and Marie Hunsaker Winget.

Mr. Winget had been a Hugoton resident since 2002.

On March 2, 2002, he married Ruthie M. Traver in Garden City. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Layne Winget of Jetmore, and Wayne Winget of Wichita; three stepchildren, Jimmie Hughes of Harrison, Alaska, Kent Hughes of Meade, and Lori Walters of Ulysses; a sister, Karen Klinge of Garden City; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church, Hugoton. Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.

Visitation hours are 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton.
