USD 457 negotiations rescheduled to May

Due to the holiday weekend, the negotiating teams of the Garden City Educators' Association and the Board of Education of Garden City Public Schools USD 457 have rescheduled today's meeting between the two groups to May 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Board Room at the Educational Support Center, 1205 Fleming St.

Driver's ed enrollment approaches

Enrollment for the summer session of the Driver Education course at Garden City High School will take place Wednesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. in Room F108 in the Freshman Academy. This course is available to GCHS students.

Classes will run May 28 through June 12. Two morning sessions of the class will be taking place on those days. These sessions will complete the classroom portion of the class, followed by the driving session. All class work and driving will be completed by July 1.

The fee for the class is $200 and must be paid in full at the time of enrollment. For more information, contact Eric Victor at 276-6654.
