Manuel Calzadillas

Manuel Calzadillas, 62, of Garden City, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.He was born Jan. 23, 1949, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Faustino and Maria Luisa Apodaca Calzadillas.
Mr. Calzadillas worked on the kill floor at Tyson Fresh Meats Inc., for 16 years.
He married Celia Haras Delgado in Chihuahua. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Raul Calzadillas of Guymon, Okla., and Manuel Jesus of Chihuahua; two daughters, Blanca Aurelia Calzadillas of Scott City, and Viviana Calzadillas of Chihuahua; his mother, of Chihuahua; two sisters in Chihuahua; six brothers and sisters in Demming, N.M.; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral and burial will be at a later date in Chihuahua.
Visitation hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City. Condolences may be emailed to garnandfh@sbcglobal.net.
