LAKIN — Mary H. Martin, 60, of Lakin, died Friday, March 28, 2014, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

LAKIN — Mary H. Martin, 60, of Lakin, died Friday, March 28, 2014, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

She was born on May 13, 1953, to Joe C. & Opal (Carrillo) Martinez in Greeley, Colo.

She was a longtime Deerfield resident. She was married to Angel Martinez in Pueblo, Colo. He preceded her in death in 2003. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brother and a granddaughter.

Survivors include four children, Linda Cano, Deerfield, Enrique Espinoza, Jr., Lakin, Rebecca Garcia, Lakin, and Monica Espinoza of Deerfield; three brothers; two sisters; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Lakin. The family requests memorials given to the Mary H. Martin Memorial Fund, in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Lakin. Condolences may be emailed to garnandfh@sbcglobal.net.
