ELKHART — Lynn Fowler, 80, died Friday, March 28, 2014, at his home in Elkhart.

ELKHART — Lynn Fowler, 80, died Friday, March 28, 2014, at his home in Elkhart.

He was born June 18, 1933, in rural Morton County, to Glenn and Susie Shrauner Fowler. He graduated from Elkhart High School.

A farmer, Mr. Fowler worked as a pumper for Panhandle Eastern from 1955 to 1986 and was a co-owner in Elkhart Lumber.

On Feb. 1, 1953, he married Jo Ann White in Elkhart. She survives. Other survivors include his sons, Eddie and Kent Fowler, his daughters, Rhonda Haar and Tonnah Perkins, and his sister, Freda Murray-Tucker, all of Elkhart; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Keith and Kenneth.

Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart. Burial will follow at Elkhart Cemetery.

Visitation hours are 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart. Memorials are suggested to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, in care of the funeral home, Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
