Myra Scott

Myra Emaline Scott, 92, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Homestead Health & Rehabilitation Center in Garden City.

She was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Syracuse, to Levi W. and Loise O. Philpot McMasters.

A resident of Garden City since 1943, Mrs. Scott was a homemaker.

On Aug. 28, 1938, she married Robert E. Scott in Syracuse. He died Aug. 5, 1999, in Garden City. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert E.L. Scott; and a sister, Lydia.

Survivors include a son, Franklin Winston Scott of Roeland Park; and three grandchildren.

Family graveside service was 3 p.m. Wednesday at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. April 4 at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.priceandsons.com. Memorials are suggested to Lee Richardson Zoo, in care of the funeral home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, KS 67846.
