Mary E. Medina, 67, of Garden City, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
She was born July 7, 1945, in Garden City, to Abraham and Antonia Bonilla Campos.
A lifetime resident of Garden City, Mrs. Medina worked for Tyson Fresh Meats Inc., for 18 years, retiring in 2003.
On Sept. 12, 1961, she married Frank Medina Jr., in Garden City.
Survivors include a son, Frank Medina of Salina; five daughters, Elodie Rojas, Alejandra Medina, Annette Cruz and Monica Acosta, all of Garden City, and Mary Jane Mendez of Salina; a brother, Jesse Ledesma of Garden City; four sisters, Columba Ramirez of Albuquerque, N.M., and Neva Gallardo, Rachel Lopez and Ruth Campos, all of Garden City; 21 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Anthony Leroy Medina; a brother, Ezequiel Ledesma; and three sisters, Sophie Garcia, Amelia Lopez and Gloria Hernandez.
Rosary will begin at 7:30 tonight at St. Mary Catholic Church, Garden City. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. A private family burial will follow at a later date at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all my Moms sisters,Aunt Neva, Aunt Rachel Aunt Ruth,Aunt Columbia and Uncle Jessie. Thank you for being there for her.
