DEERFIELD — Sheridan M. Gillock, 42, died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at his home in Wichita.

He was born March 16, 1971, in Fort Hood, Texas, to Gordon W. and Barbara J. Hill Gillock. A former resident of Deerfield, he graduated from Deerfield High School.

A Wichita resident since 1992, Mr. Gillock was a data entry clerk at Business Technology Career Opportunities.

Survivors include his companion, Jerri Nuessen of the home; his parents, Gordon and Barbara Gillock of Deerfield; two sisters, LaDeana Gillock of Lakin, and Cynthia Gillock of Deerfield; and a nephew, Zaine Gillock of Deerfield.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Deerfield. An additional memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at the 700 Building at Timbers Apartment Complex.
