Garden City Community College's "College Players" will present the dinner theater show "Deathtrap" later this month, giving guests an on-stage dinner alongside an interactive two-act thriller-comedy performance.

The play will have four 7 p.m. showings from Feb. 21 to 24. Tickets for the dinner and show are $25 and must be bought in advance either at the GCCC Fine Arts Office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or by contacting Mark Scheopner at (620) 276-9540 or mark.scheopner@gcccks.edu. The dinner includes a chocolate cake dessert.

The Players, including Steven “Wade” Freeman, Monica Hernandez, Darlene Bennett, Tobi Mitchell and Rheann Rodenbur, said in a press release that the play, once a long-running Broadway show, is different from past GCCC productions and full of the unexpected.

Money raised from tickets sales will go toward future trips to the Kennedy Center for American College Theatre Festival.
