HoHo Holiday Expo
What: This shopping, food and fun event, presented by The Garden City Telegram, will feature a variety of vendors, food, photos with Santa, food drives, and an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest between vendors.

Exploration Place Family Night
What: Students and parents can rotate through stations about science, technology, engineering and math subjects and learn how engineering plays a part in everyday life.
When: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday

Fill a Ford Toy Drive
What: The Garden City Community College Collegiate Farm Bureau and Block and Bridle Clubs will hold the annual Fill A Ford Toy Donation Drive, which will collect Christmas gifts for children in need. Students and community members will fill the bed of a Ford pickup with new, unwrapped toys.
When: 8 a.m .to 5:30 p.m. Thursday
Where: Outside the John Collins Vocational Technical Building at GCCC. There also are collection boxes in all campus buildings.
Sip'n Shop
What: Garden City Downtown Vision invites you to shop downtown while enjoying special holiday beverages and spirts. Must be 21 and older with a valid photo ID.
When: 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday
Where: Downtown Garden City
Cost: You must have a wristband to participate, and wristbands can be purchased for $6 at the Downtown Vision office, 120 E. Laurel St., from noon to 4 p.m. the day of the event.
Photos with Santa
What: Local residents can get photos with Santa at the Windsor Hotel, hosted by the Garden City High School gifted program. All proceeds will go toward the Garden City USD 457 Community Based Enrichment program.
When: Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday
Where: Windsor Hotel, 413 N. Main St.
Cost: Physical photos and digital images are $10 each, and the digital and physical image together are $15.

Filipino Christmas
What: The Filipino-American Association of Southwest Kansas will hold Paskong Pinoy, or Filipino Christmas, celebrating culture and the holiday with local leaders, ethnic community representatives and Filipino community members from all around the region. The event will include a banquet, followed by other activities. The event is invitation only.

GCCC Vespers concert
What: The Garden City Community College Department of Music will hold its Choral Christmas Vespers Concert, which will include performances by the GCCC Concert Choir, College Singers and Garden City Community Choir.
