Steckline Communications, a broadcasting company with radio stations in Wichita, Garden City, Dodge City, Scott City, and Guymon, Okla., added two new FM stations in Garden City earlier this month.

Two weeks ago, Big Dog Sports, or 1340 KGGS, which covers sports talk shows, NFL football, NCAA and southwest Kansas high school sports, among other shows, began simulcasting on 102.9 FM, and 1240 KIUL, Garden City news radio, began simulcasting on 104.9 FM.

Theron Hayse, Steckline’s general manager in Garden City, said the company was now broadcasting on seven frequencies out of Garden City and that the addition will better serve listeners.
