Fifty-seven law enforcement officers, including three from Finney and Hamilton counties, graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center earlier this month, fulfilling the state requirement for law enforcement training.

Garden City Police Department patrol officers Mason Lobmeyer and Gabriel Luna and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy William Roberts were among the graduates.

October’s class, which began training in July, represented 38 municipal, county and state law enforcement agencies across Kansas. Graduates received certificates of course completion from the center and Kansas law enforcement certification from the state’s law enforcement licensing authority, the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training.
