Tribune student Jessica Mendoza has been chosen to be one of 17 Fort Hays State University students chosen to join the school’s VIP Student Ambassadors organization for the 2018-19 school year.

Mendoza, who attended Greeley County High School, is a sophomore in nursing.

Ambassadors are official representatives of FHSU at special events, including homecoming, athletic activities and presidential dinners. Students must be full-time undergraduate students with a 2.5 or higher GPA to be eligible.
