Stauth Memorial Museum of Montezuma is looking to add items or artifacts to complete or enhance two upcoming exhibitions.

“To Honor and Comfort: Native Quilting Traditions” will be on exhibit Sunday through Sept. 30. It will include 29 Native America quilts, hands-on activities, a listening station to hear stories from some of the quilters, videos, and a series of panels with photographs and explanatory text.

The museum would like to display about 25 local quilts to enhance the exhibition and showcase the talent of area quilters. Information, guidelines, forms and deadlines can be found at www.stauthmemorialmuseum.org.

The “Christmas Traditions of Southwest Kansas 2018” exhibit will feature various holiday traditions and themes on display Oct. 14 through Nov. 25. The museum must have at least 14 exhibit spaces confirmed by July 15 or a different exhibit will be chosen.
