Jennifer LaSalle and Jennifer Stoss have taken positions as agents at the K-State Research and Extension – Finney County office in Garden City as of Sunday.

LaSalle is serving as a family and community wellness agent, providing leadership for the development and implementation of educational programming related to building healthy, sustainable communities, families and individuals. She earned a bachelor’s degree in vocational home economics education from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in education from Newman University. She had been a middle school reading instructor and counselor for the Holcomb school district and an outreach coordinator for Garden City Community College.

Stoss is the horticulture agent, developing and delivering educational programs such as horticulture crop production, marketing and economics related to the horticulture industry, landscape design maintenance and improvement, conservation of natural resources and pest management.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture education from Fort Hays State University. She had been employed as a high school agriculture educator at Ness City Junior/Senior High School.
