Paul Waggoner, the Republican businessman challenging State Rep. Steven Becker, R-Buhler, in the 104th House District primary election, announced his first Coffee Talk with voters. It will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Sunny's Cafe in Buhler. Sunny's is on the grounds of Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, 400 South Buhler Road, the press release said.

Future Coffee Talks will be scheduled in area coffee shops, the release said.

Waggoner also announced Lowell Peachey will be his campaign treasurer. Peachey is the chief executive officer of Mennonite Manor in South Hutchinson. He ran unsuccessfully against Becker in 2016.
