The Garden City Police Department is seeking the community’s help after a person riding their bicycle on Tuesday was struck by a vehicle.

At about 4:40 p.m Thursday, the GCPD was notified of a pedestrian accident that occurred at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Campus Drive and Pawnee Road.

The investigation revealed a 42-year old man was riding his bike northbound near the intersection of Campus Drive and Pawnee Road when he was struck by a white passenger car driven by a white female in her early 20s. After the accident occurred, the car fled the scene.

The victim did receive minor injuries from the accident and his property was damaged, according to the GCPD.
